I tend to look at car drivers straight in the eye espcially if i have right of way and have that feeling in the pit of your stomache !

well spent the next half hour tring to trick the bugger out of the hole with out any joy traps all around the room ! finally gave up and came back to work !!! just had a call from mrs the fecking thing just walked down the stairs !!!!!!while she is sat at her desk !!! it then hid in a plastic bag and she finally manage to trap it !!!

visually check as much of the electrics as you can to see if there are any signs of damage.
dont that and I couldnt see a think I am more worried about the charging side voltage regulator ect
not that I have a clue how to test them
as for the mouse
resently a family moved out of our road , new people have totally rebuilt there house since then
the whole area is filled with mice , we have them in the bases of our kitchen units the floor boards the walls !
my home seems like a since from the film mouse hunt at times !

well bike past its mot with flying colours last week
charged the battery all seemed fine
next day the battery was dead
so being a clever bugger I put the bike back in the garage where I have a car battery with a set of jump leads!
popped the seat off wondered around the bike picked up the leads to conected them to the battery
then as I conected them to the bike! bloody mice running around in the garage , not much of a problem its only a garage ? but we store loads in our garage along with the bike , connect up the bike turn around to try a scare the little bugger off
after about 5 seconds I'm meant with a strong smell of burning !
F0ck fock fock ! while I have been distracted I had connected the battery up the wrong way round !!
burnt my fingers but disconected it, smoke sparks like a firework display and the smell of burning plastic !
I am fairly sure the battery if focked ! but I think it was already ! its been standing for nearly 2 months
The bike still runs and I cant see any other damage just the jump leads are now crispy and the clips and springs are slighty deformed and no longer move !
Anything else I should check before I take it for a run ?
and let the piss taking comence !

yes I agree and I am one but ! in my defence we are taught when we drive a car you are in control of a weapon !
we've all seen far to often deaths of bikers cause in no uncertain terms by the "poor judgment " of car drivers
and the car driver gets a slapped wrist ! , I know its pretty much the same across the board for all crime , but I do feel , where lose of life in caused it should be a much firmer stance and punishment .
If as hinted the incident/collision was clearly her fault why was there no remorse ? no guilty at taking the life of another human ?
Was as a biker his life less valuable ? ( just playing devils advocate )

In my mind its no different to pointing a gun and pulling the trigger !

I seem to remmber this , its an oil level warning light and not an oil pressure warning light when the motort is hot and the oil is being pumped around the engine the level will drop and the light has been know to ready this and flash the warning light as long as your oil level is in the right place when the motor is at rest and you can see it in the window you should be fine !! should be !
I've had my bike since 2003 and as yet only had this once ! riding through london ! to say the motor got a little hot would be an understatment !

prob not the same but my ohlins one has a bracket to bolt on the rear foot peg mount , but i have seen them attached with cable ties as well

we used to have a pigout as we called it it had a regular problem that for no good reason it would get an air block in the coolant system
the way it was finally cured was it over heated blow the engine and it was sent to the scrape pile in the sky ( best place for it )

might be worth checking the electical conections especially the big one under the tank , this one cause me a few worries speedo fuel lights

At the begining of the year I lost both my cats , they were sisters and both 20 years old , they went with in a week of each other it was heart breaking so i know where you coming from , my heart goes out to you mate .

ok you will probably disagree but dispite it being a very exciting race ! to be honest it only really felt like a race when marquez was in front
Lorenzo did a fantastic job battling with him , but i just couldnt get away from the feeling marquez was following
as for rossi blimey ! tenth to third ! nice would have been great if he had been front trow at the start !
