Do it online and your giving your key and your address to a complete stranger. Can you not just get a key cut in Timpsons or somewhere?

Timpsons should do it, but there have been instances in the past where they either won't or they won't give any guarantee on the key. There's probably some reason behind it - perhaps their liability doesn't cover replacing the locks on vehicles or something like that?

In any case, I had my key cut by them for my 600 and it works much better than the original key does :P

Get one of the keys flattened out using a vice or hammer then go to timpsons and get two new ones. Don't use the one you have flattened out though as it will be weaker.

Don't try to bend it, it may well snap and make it more awkward!

Look for a local key cutting place, any half decent one will have the yam key. Timpsons will be twice the price but if they are the easiest to get to then use em.

How do you keep bending them, opening tins of paint? :)

Was watching something on telly the other night about peoples water meters being wrong and the guy prised open the flap in the pavement with his car key, fukkin nob. :lol

I always pull the handlebars the few millimetres to the left it takes to go on FULL lock, before using my key, makes a big difference.

This stuff made the ignition barrel much more user friendly as well:

Just had my key done as I lost one in Germany. No problems 2 months down the line with this service.
