WSB donnington PICS
« on: 14 May 2012, 05:48:51 pm »
was given albeit last minute on sun morning ..a VIP ticket/pass from the Honda team and to be honest what i know about bike racing could be wrote on the edge of a razor blade but it was a good photo op for me so off we went .
Never done bike racing before(photos i mean) ... I dont mind admitting it was a lot harder than i imagined .
Heres a few ..not the best but not bad for my first try lol

I don't think it's easy either! I also don't think you did a bad job :) Some are a little over exposed, some a little noisy, and some cropped at some extreme angles, but otherwise they're good! What gear are you using out of interest? And are some of these fairly big crops? If you don't mind, could I have a go at editing the first one please? It's my favourite :)

Nice captures for a first attempt. Be proud.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Speaking as a non professional who relies on others to take the pictures, they are brilliant. :eek

Some good shots there, no3 for me. 200mm minimum on shutter priority is the way to go. :)

Hi paul
They look great to me. My favourite is melandri and biaggi knee down at the melbourne loop  hairpin.
And that lovely grin of Jonathan Rea ( no doubt after winning race 2 )

well done fella !

As I've already said on the other side .. Bloody Nora Paul ...

Yes .. yes .. I can see you were struggling a bit there confused

Fantastic stuff .. if only I could  'look through the hole and press the button'  half as good as that .. I'd be a one Happy Bunny.   Superb Shots mate, well done!

Lord Jon ... I think you might mean the shot of Haslam #81 and Biagi #3 ?   (Melandri is #33   Or is it me  :\

As always .. Stay Safe wing Trev

Excellent pictures for what turned out to be an excellent day of racing. I was at Goddards and witnessed the unfortunate coming together of Melandri and Haslam :'(  Great to see Lowes getting his well deserved first in the supersport, reminded me of Scott Reddings 125 win a few years ago.

Looking forward to the return on the 5th August at Silverstone. :)
