I hope there are going to be more FZS Fazers on the Mayday run this year. I saw 4 last year.

Sounds interesting, do you have details?  I live in Sittingbourne, Kent so would head down A229 through the Weald (nice riding). Never done a big ride out before.
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!

If it's the Hastings ride out then count one more in!  Going with a mate that rides a Honda or something... :rolleyes

I'm coming down from Cambridge via Gravesend to collect my mate.

This is starting to sound like a bit of a plan :D  I live in sittingbourne too. Iwade to be exact.  I just googled it after a biker told me about it the other day. Does sound good 10's of thousands of bikes all converging on Hastings  on 7th May  using the A21 lined with spectators cheering them on, parking restriction lifted in Hastings for the day and loads of other things going on. Been going on since the 70's APPARENTLY. I'm up for meeting up with any foccer's. Never done anything like that before either. Got to be a buzz.  :)

For those who have missed out on this Amazing event its a run from locksbottom in kent to hastings down the A 21.Its been going for decades now. Its the first bank holiday in may (7th this year) Thousand of bikes and bikers go. Hastings council are putting on a good show this year apparently. Wake up early, leave early have a fun day down the coast. There is even a facebok page :- Mayday run 2012 and a web page thought i can't remember what it is but it does have 1066 somwhere in the title lol. I read somewhere it attracted 40,000 bikes one year. people line the roads to watch, who knows you may even end up on youtube. Enjoy
