Title: Hiya. new fz1n owner
Post by: sarumike on 09 September 2013, 08:34:52 pm
hi

originally from Liverpool,  been in London for years.  anyway after years of hondas (cbrs and vfrs), i decided i wanted a naked bike and plumped for the fz1.

im enjoying the handling and the torque, owned it about a month now and absolutely love it!

yeah i had VFR800s for the last 3 yrs or so (VTEC and earlier), taken a while to get used to fz1 different riding style. But i love it, wish the tank was a bit bigger or rather the low fuel actually came on when it was low fuel!!

but i love the handling and the balance of the fz1, its an amazing bike.
 :)

i went to silverstone for the motogp the other Sunday.  180 miles round trip,  surprised how comfy the fz1 was.

Silverstone, same here, freezing cold trip there but an awsome warm ride home.Wind noise on the motorway the only gripe. :'(

It took me a while to work out the low fuel gauge, it changes to miles you have done on low fuel, very useful now i understand it, i have done 30 miles on the low fuel count ,good to know.

Lets see the machine :D

some photos of my fz1. i bought it with no screen,  so i fitted a puig one, it does make little difference around town.  replaced the standard levers with short ones. got r&g crash bungs that i haven't got round to fitting yet and  I'm also on the lookout for a good belly pan.
