Just ordered a set of Bahco ratcheting spanners. Not seen these before, but maybe I need to get out a bit more :lol . Each spanner head is a double ended socket and covers 2 metric sizes, so the set of 3 spanners in a pouch covers 12 sizes(8mm to 19mm going from memory). Ideal for carrying on the bike. £29.95

I'll bet those are nice,I've had some Leytool ratchet spanners for some years now but half of them are A.F. so not much use, still got about 6 metric though. There's a lot of stuff changing to Torx type fixings now though isn't there? :\
-
Just changed the rear shocks on my car, they were torx. The one torx socket I needed that I never had "Isn't sold singularly sir, only comes in a set of twelve". I did suggest he keep the other 11 and sell them seperately for far more money, but he wasn't having any of that. :lol . I did consider ordering the T20 that I needed from ebay, but couldn't be arsed with jacking the car up again in order to tighten the necessary bolts. I've almost got a roll cab full of good tools that I'm never going to use again :rollin :rollin .

Nice spot robbo just ordered some as well. Bahco kit is usually decent quality their adjustable spanners and pipe wrenches have all survived the standard scaffold pudlock tube test.
-
Bahco is the only shifter worth a foc. All the rest are, as far as I am aware, a waste of time.
-
Never had a problem shifting anything with my trusty old Stillies and a pudlock bought my pair of 24"s as an apprentice nearly 50 years ago, used and abused, now a little battered and a bent handle but still shifting

Fair enougth.
Last time I played that game I think I used large mole grips, wasn't much left to grip.
Desperate stuff. :eek

I've still got a couple of pairs of "footprints"I had when I was a plumbers mate donkeys years ago,not any good for a modern bike but they've got me out of the shit so many times with the cars, vans, house etc. :thumbup

New spanners arrived yesterday. Very well made and a very novel idea in having double ended sockets of differing sizes. Great price considering they're 50 odd quid on some websites. Well pleased. :thumbup

They are on EBAY just type in Bahco ratchet spanner S4RM/3T. Received the set I ordered yesterday seem good quality will be ideal for touring 3 spanners covering 8mm to 19mm that fit under the seat time will tell.
