'04 Fazer 1000 clutch
« on: 28 May 2017, 05:14:51 pm »

Just got back from a ride and noticed the clutch felt odd, pulling the lever it feels like a two stage trigger on a gun with a very definite change half way through the travel, it's not the lever as I pushed the lever on the clutch cover and the same can be felt, any ideas before I pull it to bits ?

Spay some WD40 on to the lever pivot on the clutch cover first before you start pulling it apart. Operate the clutch a few times while spraying.

Could it possibly be a fraying cable snagging on the sleeve / lining? When was the last time that was changed or the inner cable lubed? Just thinking cheap possibilities first?
