Engine brush paint?
« on: 20 March 2021, 11:27:38 pm »
I know about the Simoniz engine aluminium enamel spray paint, but is there any good match brush paint?  With the headers off I have  removed all the grease with good old gunk and cleaned the front of my engine and it's not too bad as the bike only has 11,000 miles on it.  I don't want to remove the engine for obvious reasons. Been told you can use a sponge type brush too good effect by dabbing it on the slightly rough cast finish at the front.  Any ideas.

You could buy the proper colour matched paint in a touch up stick or a tin from RS bike paints.

Thanks gents, RS brush Paints are only available in small touch up quantities, 25 ml, I think, bloody good but expensive.  I could mask everything off but cannot be arsed at the moment, and as usual just noticed other bits and pieces that could do with a face lift........... Maybe next year! ;)
