anyone care to guess best lap for a 50+ overweight, unfit bloke on a 13 yo misfiring gsxr600 with shagged tyres and thrown together suspension and not been ridden for over a year! closest guess wins some of the chewed up rubber off the rear tyre

got a nice green letter through the mail at the weekend alledging 37 in a 30. thing is i was driving a vehicle with an analogue tacho which for the time in question shows i didn't exceed 50kmh for @5 mins (the time it takes to go through the village). do i take the offer of a speed awareness course or do i fight it?

FZ1! decided that i need more grunt than the fazer can give me, but still need the dual purpose nature of a sports tourer. so realistically, what can be done to the motor and how much will it give/cost, and what can be done suspension wise (if needed). i rode one a few years back and was grinding the crap out of the pegs within 5 minutes, so any advice re mods appreciated.

rather than filling up specific fora with 'how do i' threads. a sticky for what is ivanising, headlamp connecting etc, a link to Pat's site etc. plus it'll give the thread police something to do moving all the crap around

or to be more specific, their rolling circumference. took off some M5's and replaced them with diablo rosso corsa's, and the tyre is kissing the hugger, even after i adjusted the chain up. considering they re both made in the same factory, and both 180/55, should there really be THAT much difference?

i have a gb's worth of holiday snaps stuck on a memory card that i really need to get to a hard drive. i tried easeus and stupidly used my free gb saving video clips rather than jpegs. is there anyone out there who can do this or recommend some other software, because i'll be damned if i'm paying £60 for a program.

either it's the culture at HRC or the mindset of a top racer but HRC seem to employ quite a few 'but it's not fair!!!!!' types. from fast freddie to mick doohan to casey stoner to biaggi to gibernau to pedrosa and now marquez has caught the bitch bug. or is it simply a case of they can give it, but not take it? now the yamaha is pretty sorted and a match for the honda i can see marquez 'falling apart like a cheap watch!' Just been in fowlups and had a gander at one. By christ did it hit the ugly tree when it landed. Arse end looks like one of those German streetfighter things you'd see at the TT with the kicked up back end, and from the front it looks like someone forgot to put the top fairing on it. Next time suzuk,i make sure you don't let the designers son crayon drawing get passed off.

on my school run today met a nolan wagon on a 18t mgw road. don't often see wagons down there, but in a very thick east european accent he tells me he's 15t as he's only carrying polyester. i only hope he met the plod halfway to chepstow
