You could try www.anyvan.comOnce you put in the details, you get quotes from various peeps for the job. If you google them, I am sure there will be reviews somewhere as to what they are like.

I use a Post Office Mastercard abroad as the PO do not charge for currency conversion, like a lot of other cards even if you clear the amount due at the end of the month.

Admiral use to be competitive, but now they are just greedy. When my lad changed his car one month after renewing with Admiral, it was cheaper for him to pay a cancellation fee and insure with someone else than to pay admiral for changing the details to the new car!! Also they are the company who ask if you have been on a Speed Awareness Course and penalise you accordingly. I have just re insured my 3 series beemer, through the IAM for £160 fully comp. One of the few perks of old age

What the others have said, Mike. One or two piece leathers with full zip around. Also some places insist on the gold ACU sticker on your helmet

Just out of interest, how much does a ticket for a 90 minute premier football match cost? I haven't a clue, never been to a footy match in my life.

If you sent a package by Parcelforce Express 48 and it wasn't delivered within the 48hr window, you cam reclaim you postage costs. I have done this on two occasions when the parcel has been delivered late.

On the subject of discrimination, I was in my local Halfrauds recently. Car oil and sundries were on a rack at the back of the store. Bike oil was near the front of the store, each item having a secuirty tag on it!!!! It would be interesting to know if other Halfrauds stores did the same.

Assuming you are still in the north Kent area as per your profile, why don't you email the regional coordinator, geoff.prettyRGC@iam.org.uk and ask him how long one has to wait to be assigned an Observer.
