WTF - like when I am avoiding a plank. brick. wheel trim ( Insert your obstacle here) i actively steers you back into it
Basically yes, although the intervention isn't strong enough to override the human, it just feels like resistance. What it does do which would be great for about 50% of road users is make them use there indicators as that is how the system knows that you are deliberately crossing the marked line.

Ha, my focus has all that and more, speed limit recognition, lane assist, this is wear it either warns or actively diverts you if you start wondering out of a lane.

Perhaps one advantage of BREXIT is that we wouldn't have had to wait till 2011 for the EU to legislate on daylight running lamps. Volvo first fitted them in 1984!
What are the benefits of daytime running lights?
Studies have shown that DRLs can reduce the risk of road accidents.
A Canadian report from 1997 showed a 5.7 per cent fall in crashes for cars with DRLs fitted, while an American study from 2000 put the figure at seven per cent. The EU didn’t investigate the issue until 2003, but suggested a likely reduction of between five and 15 per cent.
Many new cars have instruments that are always illuminated, making it harder to notice when the headlights are switched on.
Daytime running lights are a useful failsafe in such cases, ensuring the car is always clearly visible.
Except they are not because most DRL's are only iliimunated on the front of the vehicle, which is fuck all use when you come up behind a dark coloured vehicle in fog. This has happened to me on several occasions.

New cars being fitted with with LED main lights - they are so focing bright and "glarey", compared to normal bulbs theres even that advert with the car making the fox squint - like its a feature that sels the car to nobheads cause it makes everyone squint
Don't get me started, and it means that said knob heads forget to turn there actual lights on in the dark.

Another one - the army and when ranks retire they are always referred to as "Colonel Mustard-retired" "wing Commander Bird - retired"
How far down the ranks does that go. Are there any "Private Tommy Atkins-retired"?
I could be wrong. (often am!), but I thought it was that you had to have held a field rank i.e Major or above (or equivalent i.e Lt Commander / Sqn Ldr) if it was Captain RN that's equivalent to Colonel /Group Captain!
most of us rank & file just use Veteran!
Thats what I thought as well, I guess like everything now its getting watered down.

Just read the Fz1 article and saw that the bike they nodded had pretty much all the same engine mods as mine ( even had the same paint scheme 🤗) but there's was dyno'd at 153 bhp and mine was last done at 146bhp. The only difference they had was the dynojet ignition module. Do they really make that much of a power gain?
Don't worry I'm not rushing out to buy one, 146rwhp is plenty for me, I'm just curious 🤔
I don't know about that, but atmospheric conditions and even different dynos can give different results.

The final solution then will be to get a new tv bracket that gives more space for cables behind the TV

That was my thread. What do you mean by your comment. If this isn't the place to ask questions about our bikes or riding bikes, then where do we go to? I was never taught it in my bike test 7 years ago or my car test 20 years a go. I mostly ride by myself (i have no friends  ) so where would i pick up this information?? Obviously you now everything, but when i thought sailing i always explained that the person who said they now everything about sailing is either a fool or dangerous, reckon the same applies to bikes. By the way which one are you? Sorry for the thread highjack.

I have a PR3 on the front and PR4 on the rear, they don't do PR4 in our front tyre size. Logically PR4 should be better than the PR3 as it supersedes it.
I switched from BT23 to these tyres and i have to say it was a revelation. So much more confidence in the rear tyre. I doubt theres much between them but the newer tyre surely wins.

Thinking about wrapping my belly pan as it needs some loving now. Wondering what it would look like wrapped.
Others have photoshopped paint schemes so thought i would give it a try. Whats the easiest software to use on a macbook for someone who uses about 5% of the stuff on there mac!!
