I have got a sidestand switch if it helps you out. But sidestand would require removal of the exhaust to get at it,the two I took off where long after the whole bike was stripped & they where still a cnut to get at covered with crud !

I'm glad my old bottom end went to a good home 😎 your speedo problem simply sounds like a chaffed wire earthing out easy to fix 🙂

Yes, stuffing some water and petrol resistant sealant in to block the pipe top and bottom should work OK.. at least as a short-term solution.
I'd be careful blocking up pipes if tank cant breathe engine will not run !

Try blocking cap end of either pipes with your finger whilst pumping air in other end,to see if air bubbles though your petrol if yes then your tanks toast cos the inner pipe/s rusted though 😬

If it's not doing it around town it's probably nothing to worry about most likely a different exhaust note, myself I wear earplugs out of town can't stand wind noise so don't hear much at all lol

Seems to be ok. To not lose time and money, could you, please, verify if the online data is correct?
"Rear pegs lowered 45mm & moved forward 10mm "
The quote is for 2000 improvment compared with 1999. No further note about any modification on later models.
Probably you can't see the 10mm forward, in my mind is that 10mm are on frame.
I can put them next to my Boxeye & see if their different

I also have the 99's. I need the 01 model. Seems to be identical but they are different. The 01 pegs are longer and lower.
Ahh I see I've also got a pair of later 2002 Foxeye ones

Another question, the passangers footpegs, from what year are? I have a Wingrack2 from 01 and my bike is from 99. Incompatible because the pegs are lowered from 01.
I have some 1999 ones from the silver bike just broken

Good luck removing your old fan I used a blow torch to get one off & still had to drill one stubborn bolt that snapped, but the rad was shot anyhow so I salvaged the useable fan.
Clamp the tab your working on in a vice heat directly on the nut, slight turn either way to break the bond.
