all I can see is my shoulders ffs
Any mounts to move them out or mirror swaps ?
I saw some where cbr1000rr mirrors fit and they looked a bit wider ?
Don’t want bar end as they all seem to be that wide I’d have a nightmare filtering in traffic

There's the 'Fuzzyone' mod for the standard mirror setup which works very well, I've done it to my previous and current Gen1.

I had the same issue , I went and got a set of mirrors off a fz1n and a Yamaha clutch perch with the threaded collar off flea bay and removed the standard mirrors and blanked off with some dome head bolts ,happy days :)

Just done this. Took 30 mins. Not been out yet but looks spot on sat on drive
-
nice one. considering it myself mate
-
I did mine years ago...wou would go back to stick fitting now.
-
So after a few decent rides I can confirm the fuzzyone mod does just what is required :)
-
Is there any spacers that could go under the mirrors and stick them out more?
-
At one time there was spacing blocks available on eBay, not seen them for a while
-
At the moment can't find anything. Will keep digging :)
-
I have these,
https://sw-motech.com/en/bike/YAMAHA/FZS1000/2003/RN06/products/safety/mirror+extension/4052572013465.htm (https://sw-motech.com/en/bike/YAMAHA/FZS1000/2003/RN06/products/safety/mirror+extension/4052572013465.htm)
Better than standard, not perfect but you do see more of the road behind.
Don.
-
I've got exactly the same ones as Don on my thou.
Just as he says, they aren't perfect but are a good improvement.
Also means you keep the adjustability of the mirrors, which you lose if you do the "reverse" mod.
-
OK, can you guys post a picture of how it looks now. Does the rubber cover works anymore or not?
-
I’ve tried to post pictures in the past without much luck.
The rubber cover still stays on the mirror, the blocks lift the base of the mirror up about 1.5 inches, and the mirrors then sit on top of the blocks.
Hope this helps.
-
Ok, than ks for that, will be considering these an a option

With extenders from SW,fitted underneath standard mirrors with supplied extension hardware, mirrors still fold and use excisting rubber boots.
