Hi from sunny Norfolk.
« on: 26 July 2013, 06:06:11 pm »
Hi,
This is my step back into biking after a 12 year break!!

I have just (2 weeks ago) picked up my Fazer S2 on an 09 plate. 4500 miles mint.

Wow how I have missed having a bike!

Only downside is a slightly clunky gear change at low revs, suppose this has to be expected and a snappy throttle. This could be down to me or the fact that most miles are covered with a pillion my good wife.

Anyway treat me kind please, and I'll try to contribute :)

Hello and welcome from a fellow S2 owner ('58 plate, 13k miles) - and THE fastest colour too  :D

How much did you pay for yours?

I can thoroughly recommend an oil change for cluncky gearboxes! Can't believe the difference it made on mine after changing the oil, as the clutch is oil fed on these.

Just had a full service and that clunky gear change has improved noticeably:)
