R1 swingarm
« on: 23 July 2013, 11:57:43 am »
Just wondering about an R1 swinger and rear wheel to match the R1 front end on the bike, and to allow 180 tyre goodness.

Are these a straight fit? i've seen one or two pictures with them fitted but not much info around.

Cheers,
Tom

I'm sure someone will confirm but I DONT think its a straight swap a lot of machining and buggering about involved

Would the Fazer FZS1000's swingarm not have a better chance of fitting with minimum modification - I think it was originally fitted to Thunderaces & both support 180 tyres

Admittedly no brace so perhaps wouldnt look as good
