Did a dry run last weekend,  my boss gave me a coorporate ticket to World superbikes at Silverstone, so went from Leicester on my bike via M1/A43, but coming back, decided to go A5 back via Hinckley, which is the route I think we will be taking. Enjoyed the run, tagging on the back of a lot of other bikes heading back from Silverstone. Should be a good ride with the festival to attend as well!

So -- do you have to pre reg or can you turn up (Hinckley for me ) and pay and reg on the morning
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Jacks hill cafe sent out a message that they have had a meeting, and last day for registration is tomorrow. Not sure if that is only for jacks hill though!

Bert, Helen, Yellowwolf, I've just signed up for this rideout, meeting at Jack's Hill. I've had to leave it until now to sign up as I've not been able to ride since Father's Day in June, due to a back injury, but I'm now getting to the stage whereby I feel confident that my back will be ok - and I'm getting seriously p'd off with just looking at my bike parked up in the garage - I need to to get out on it  ;)
Not sure what time I need to be at Jack's Hill, seen it somewhere but can't find it now, but I won't be too late because I will need a sausage & bacon cob and a coffee  :lol

I'll look out for you all there  :) I'll be the fat lad on a black Tiger 1050, '09 plate  ;)

What time are you aiming to get there Bert? As I've registered fairly late, I doubt I'll receive anything through the post in time, so I'll just print off my registration confirmation & bring it with me, once I've sorted that I'll try & do some Foccer spotting.
I'm going out for a bimble tomorrow all being well, my first ride since June so it'll be a steady one and hopefully my back will survive  ;)

On the website it says:

Online registration this event is now closed. Limited registration places will be available on the day. To join us and avoid disappointment, please arrive 15 minutes before the registration opening times stated above, to guarantee your place on the official Ride Out.

Hi Steve I'm also aiming for around nine so if we all put flashing lights on our heads and wear the button holes we should stand out enough to find each other.  :lol

Nice one Bert, 9ish at Jack's Hill it is then, now do I just blat straight down the M1 -> J15A, or do I leave leave the M1 near LFE Services and do the A426 / A5 route that Chris.Biker normally does to Jack's Hill? Option 2 is definitely interesting, think I'll go with that one :-)

We leave Wellingborough at around 9 so imagine we'll be at Jack's Hill for around 9.30. See you there! X
