Speaking of No.10...M&P have got the Putoline E10 Fuel Fighter back in stock. Worth carrying a small container of it under the saddle if you're an E10 sceptic like me. :D

I hate the stuff. Filled mine up with it. Parked the bike and couldn't ride it for 4 weeks, due to work commitments. Now it won't start.
I now have 22 litres of cleaning fluid!
I'll drain and flush the system, new filter etc and get some E5 methinks.

I only bought it to use in, hopefully, a rare occasion when I’m stranded with E10 being the only option. Esso Synergy Supreme+, is my all time first choice, no ethanol at all :thumbup

We have an Esso station about 3/4 mile away. I need to check which pumps, pump Heineken and which pumps, pump Skol  :lol :lol

BTW, where is everyone?

My local Esso is about a mile away. Always ethanol free 99 octane on tap. No lagers though, more like London Pride or Harveys. Both nice pints though. :thumbup :D

In that case, maybe it can do what the E10 Fuel Fighter can't :lol

I hope so - there's a lot of snake oil being sold at the moment.

That’s very true, but I can’t see why a company like Putoline for example, would want to risk tarnishing their brand, by entering a product market, if the product isn’t up to scratch. If you have been disappointed with it, you’re hardly likely to choose them specifically for anything else, be it oil, chain lube etc. However, you can’t beat personal experience, it beats the ad men every time. :thumbup

Well, you're already a "how to get the carbs out" specialist :lol . Are you doing the airbox mod as well?

Is the air box mod applicable to the ‘slip on’ kit?

I hadn’t noticed that fazerscotty has gone for the slip on kit, which has smaller main jets and different needles compared to the full monty kit. The full monty benefits from mods to the air box and carb rubbers, but needs a free flowing exhaust to work properly, whereas the slip on would be a benefit even using a stock silencer, in my opinion.
