Have just ordered a twin dry break {sort of) and need info regarding reshaping of the tank after fabrication.
I'd like to fit the flange at the front of the tank and fill in the existing fuel cap hole, problem is the tank isn't flat, Can I ask the engineer to just weld a flat piece into the tank leaving a body shop to reshape the area with filler or will the engineer need to weld in a section with the same profile as the rest of the tank.
