Hi guys a little advice if someone can assist.
I have just taken possession of a new GlPro digital gear postion /change indicator and the first thing in the instructions is 'Locate the Speed Sensor Coupler' well I know where the speed sensor is, it's on the front axle, but, where the foc the coupler is in amongst all the junction boxes/connectors I have not a clue.
Any advice gratefully received as it my plan to fit the little beast tomorrow.
:thumbup In antisipation.

Out of simple curiosity, why do you actually need it?
-
Basically cos I am like a few other Foccers on here, an 'Old Fart' and for some reason us old farts seem to always be tugging up for another gear, namely 7th, which as I'm sure you are ware does not actually exists.
So at a glance this should stop all the tugging that us old boys seem to do. :eek

I'm the same...always going for seventh !! I compare road speed and rpm and work it out but would prefer a simple bulb to light up when in top gear. I saw a video a while ago for a different bike showing an easy system where the small plastic cover on the gearbox (the one with the neutral switch) was removed and a copper rivet or similar was put in where the top gear position is. Then a wire was run up to a light on the dash. Worked a treat for a few quid.
Would this idea work on a Fazer ?

Tigers are often full of shit :eek

Yep me too look for 7th at times, just an indication that I am in 6th will do - don't need the rest. Dont want to look down for it either
-
Glue one on the inside of your visor, although it will rather limit how far your skid lid can be away from the bike :rollin

:lol :lol Yup...feckin loads of it :lol :lol
-
Mine's mainly a commuter in heavy traffic, didn't even know it went past 4th gear. My bike would probably scream a warning in 6th saying "What are you doing, slow down?" :'(

This is way better Tomski :lol

Here we go, this link takes us to the part I was suggesting. Even the position of 6th gear is easy to see..and drill :D
I know it's a different bike but same part number I believe.
