Title: Cheap Brake Seal Sets
Post by: Derpdiherp on 13 May 2015, 02:48:21 pm
Do you guys reckon anything untoward would come of using these really cheap seal sets?

I need to service the brakes, noticed one front pad has worn much faster than the rest, and the back brake is definitely binding a bit.

"You pays your money and takes a chance".

I for one would never skimp on anything to do with brakes or tyres.

:agree
But some will and do, each to their own, better having information so each person can make up their own mind of what they'd like to do :)

Concerning the Tourmax kit I mentioned in the linked thread:
my authorized Honda dealer (I own a NTV650 alongside) sells such parts as an alternative to the more expensive OEM stuff.
So I think that  the quality might not be too bad.

I bought these in 2013.
Perfect fit, no problems after 2 years.

That's a good price, I'll go for those. Fingers crossed the front seals are okay and the pistons just need a deep clean.
