Am i the only foccer, probably in the UK, who hasn't actually seen one whole film of the Star Wars series?
They've been on in the background before on tv, but i've hardly taken too much notice as they really don't do foc all for me, despite all the hype, even though i work in the film industry and prep equipment for them on a daily basis at the moment (can't say any more, sorry).
When i was 7 years old when the first film came out i remember i was more interested in clipping shit loads of playing cards to the frame of my push bike that hit the wheel spokes to resemble the sound of a motorbike!
See, all was not lost.  :D

No you are not - I once tried to watch Return of the Jedi and got totally bored.

Not for me.

Saw the new Bond film yesterday, i wasn't impressed at all, in fact i found it quite boring!  :thumbdown

In contrast, the poorly advertised Man From U.N.C.L.E. was way better, great background music, dry humour and they just about nailed the 60's era in every way, which looked fantastic in HD, definitely worth a watch.  :thumbup

The first one was awesome in 1978 when I  first seen it, like most kids I had some of the figures- wish I'd kept them in their boxes!
Lets just say I've steadily took less interest in the star wars franchise as each movie has came out to the point now as a adult I don't get excited about kids movies any more. Same with the Harry potter ones to be honest. I'm more of a Ridley Scott fan. In the box office, Blade Runner was overshadowed by Return of the Jedi at the time, pity as Blade Runner is a far superior piece of cinematography.
Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

Ridley Scott asked "Who the fuck is that?" as i stood in a marquee on the set of Gladiator dressed in all my bike gear as i waited to work on a film camera.
On hearing that i asked the bloke taking me towards the camera "Who the fuck is he?" as Richard Harris shuffled past me wheezing like mad.  :lol

That was in Bourne Wood, they film a lot of forest scenes there. It was quite funny seeing a shit load of Germanic soldiers all having lunch together in the makeshift canteen.

Thats funny i watched it yesterday, and although enjoyed it, it had all the appropriate bond bits it felt watered down due to the length and also like it was a filler setting up the next set of films.
