Obvious when you think about it.  Observation, reading the road conditions and an awareness of what others are doing, or about to do, are things we do on a bike to keep ourselves out of trouble.  That carries on when driving something other than a bike (I still avoid wet manhole covers even when in the car!).  You only have to see the number of cars that fly off the road at roundabouts when we get the first shower after a dry spell.  A biker knows the difference between dry, grippy tarmac and wet slippy tarmac, most car drivers just think of it as tarmac.
