I have picked up a double headlight kit from Germany, not cheep, but it is well made and comes with a mounting bracket for the clocks and all the fittings.

Thinking of doing away with the fairing and doing a twin headlight job, so obviously will need mirrors. Of course there are the holes available but are the ones on the bars 8 or 10mm and are they the weird threads. Right hand on one side and left hand on the other.

i replaced the jet in mine, cured my issue, which sounds very similar to yours. Did all the stripping and cleaning so this was the only way it worked for me.

Well know and noticeable, gets rid of the holes in the rev range and make the bike sharper and nicer to ride.  Fit a quality end can (Quill in my opinion) and a K&N that's it, just make sure the crabs are properly balanced and enjoy.
I'm with you mate if the crabs are out of balance nothing feels right.  :rollin :rollin

Well got a result with the running issues on my bike. My mate stripped the carbs down and found the past owner had altered the float height, got the mixture screw in the wrong position and a blocked pilot jet, combined with the wrong plugs was strangling the bike. I have owned another Fazer some years ago so know how they are supposed to feel, and mine has felt strangled from the day I had it, happy to say it now goes like it should. :)

Hi guys thanks for the replies, TPS checked, plugs were bought from a reputable bike shop, leads swap tried. Got new caps coming either today or tomorrow. Air filter good.

FZS600 Fazer / lumpy at low revs
« on: 09 May 2018, 10:40:46 pm »
ok this has probably been done to death and reading the post have given me things to check. However after a lay up the bike started to run lumpy. So here is what I did, plug change, carbs balanced, jets cleaned.leads trimmed. All the issues revolve around Np. 4 carb. pipe is cooler on that one. Is there anything else I can check or have missed. Starting to wind me up. The problem is around the lower rev range and it is like the bike is firing on 3 cylinders.
