Fitting is straightforward unless you have a givi top box rack (Like Me!) Then you have to bend the attaching plate a bit so indicators don't clash with rack.

Could I ask . . How many miles has your bike done?  To have to replace/repair forks on a 5 year old bike seems a bit much. I'm hoping mine don't go that soon.

Have a good trip. Looks a good route.  Would join you but can it be possible to get 3 days together with NO RAIN in SCOTLAND? Only like the dry. Sad I know.

Got some givi arms coming today for my top box. Hope it wont spoil the look of the bike. Also hope it will fit with the tail tidy indicators.

Hi everyone.

I,ve taken the plunge and got myself an FZ.

Had a few dif bikes since returning to them in 2004.  Suzuki Bandit 600, Honda Firestorm, VFR800 (Pre Vtec), 06 Fireblade, Yamaha Majesty (Bows in shame!),
Honda XBR 500, CB500, VFR750 (Still Got), and now a 62 FZ8 with only 1500 miles on it.  Loving it so far.  Thought it would be about the same power as my VFR750 but it's MORE!  It's very easy to ride, slow or fast, is proving surprisingly economical when taking it steady. (over 50 MPG!).  Riding position is more upright than VFR so its far more comfy on a longer run.  Seat a bit harder but I'm working on that, and have bought cycle shorts as suggested on here, yet to try them.  A little heat felt at top of legs (worst at around 40 mph), any one else noticed this or is it just me. VFR does it and I thought it was a V Twin thing, i.e. rear cylinders at back of tank.  Gearbox a bit "whiney" but not as noticable with baffle out of Scorpion can.

Regards Richard.
