Oh okay, i had a similar problem a while back and it turned out to be a carb inlet rubber had folded in on itself when it was refitted, but as it was carb number 3 it couldn't be seen. Every time i used to give the bike a bit of welly, or overtake, it would just bog down as described.Just a thought.......
I've only just notice as well it's only started since I've had my alarm taken off by a local motorcycle shop could that have anything to do with it
problem solved i got a mate of mine to clean the carbs properly for me, he notice that one of the main jets had some dirt in, the problem seems to be solved now and the bike still pulls like a train even with 65000 miles on the clock

It might be worth having another look in the float bowls. If cleaning the carbs fixed the problem briefly, perhaps they're getting filled with more crap somehow. Have you changed the fuel filter?
a local bike shop said it could be the carbs have worn with age and because of the amount of miles my bike has done?
