They're acceptable, but there is no comparison in quality between these and the expensive ones!
At the end of the day it depends what you're using it for, if it's just for accident evidence it'll be fine, if you want to start making a YouTube channel then not so much!

Yes, yes they have, however, they've also given you better braking performance over the softer organic pads.
I've always preached ferodo platinum pads, but like tyres it's an individuals preference!

I've used lampkin and Co several times for my accidents- 01244 525725
I believe several other people on here have used numerous other solicitors or accident compensation companies so the choice is yours, if he's saying it's not his fault though you'll have to get representation from either your insurance or one of these companies!

Bollox - he's pulled out on you on a roundabout failing to give way to the right- that's the story stick to it!

Is it definitely the forks you're getting a knock from and not either the head race bearings being knackered or even the brake pads moving in the calipers!? (two easy things to check)

As unfazed said, I find once the caps start breaking down in heavy rain then they will continue to have this problem in future wet situations- pound shops sell the tiny cans of wd40 which are very useful to have under the seat.
Also on top of the wd40 completely caking them plug caps in thick grease will help for future!

I recall Punkstig saying he had an srad & it was supreme and he would have another.......but he just got another thundercat..........but anyway....are the early srad carb models the best ones to go for????

I had an early fi one, a motorbike journalist friend of mine declares the early carb ones to be the ones to go for!
I got a t'cat out of necessity as it is better for work than an SRAD, otherwise I'd have bought another srad without question- a shit load of bike for very little money!

The last few couple of sets of NGK CR8E's I've fitted have all been within spec straight out the box.
That's generally the case these days tbf!

Don't look like it, I shall be traveling at a more sedate pace moving the boat instead!

Didn't have a preference or suggestion, just throwing it out there as no one else has!

The aquatex ones will do a pretty decent job but they are very thin and easy to catch on a corner of something and tear.
The stormex is very much thicker, bit also double the price!
I've always gone with the large size but that's with a top box on the bike!
(although I believe they now do a specific shape of cover for topboxes)

Not going anywhere near the insurance company - I'd only get £500 after excess and then get penalized with inflated premiums for the next 5 years!
Got a thundercat today, so back to work!
