Ivan kit or dyne jet
« on: 21 March 2014, 09:27:37 pm »
Looking for opinions on Ivan's kit for fazer 1000!  Have read great reviews about them, but Also a few bike mechanics I know have never heard of them!  Has anyone had experience with Ivan's kit as well as dyno jet ? What would u recommend and why? Is there much of a difference in performance fir the pice and how easy are both to fit??? Tanks in advance

This will be interesting but I think to get the attention of the right person you might be better off putting it in the Fazer 1000/FZ1 section.

Yup post in the thou section.

I've never heard of dyne jet.  But a few here have fitted Dynojet kits.
Literally 100's have fitted Ivans kits.
Mines fitted with the slip on kit.  Recommended.

I had a dyno jet kit done on my first one, with an Akrapovich can. Not bad, but not the same as the Ivans (mine is full monty - why go half measures?  :lol ). Fuelling is so much better - smoother- than with the dynojet, and more power everywhere. No comparison really, wouldn't bother with the dynojet again. And, someone told me the needles supplied in the dynojet kit are the same as stock ones, so you're not changing much, if anything.

Have a read of this to see why you should go Ivans:

Slip on kit cos that's all there was when Mike did mine back in 2005.

Yup smoother, no more horrible secondary vibes, no more surging on small throttle openings at low speed, that big lump of torque at the bottom end and 10bhp extra up top.  Fit and go.  What's not to like?

Recommended.
