Hi, my name is Dave and I have just joined. I am currently running an 03 Fzs600 and I love it. When I get round to it I will post some pics of my ride.

Is this you 1st fazer grandad ? If so points to watch out for...brakes don't like salt the pistons can seize..check an clean if necessary at least once a month, down pipes are mild steel so you may need to paint with high temp paint to ward off the dreaded rust, front sprocket has been known to come loose..check with previous owner if modified nut fitted or have dealer check, modified is peanuts also always fit new tab washer if changing front sprocket,

Thanks for the tips Eddie much appreciated.Yes this is the first fazer I have owned and I am really satisfied with it. I don't think I should have any probs with the brakes due to salt as I don't get much time to ride in the winter anyway because of my job but I still keep an eye on them. I already knew the fazers niggly bits with the sprocket and the down pipes and fortunately the sprockets been done and the pipes seem okay but I think I will paint them up anyway. Thanks Grandad
