The new £5 note
« on: 26 September 2016, 04:44:04 pm »
What do you all reckon to them?

Got given my first one in my change at the pub last night.

Quite an odd slippery feel to it and I wasn't expecting the window so you can look right through it :eek

It's good to see Churchill on the reverse side though :thumbup

I've seen several already being a market trader!
I think it's quite nifty despite being sceptical before their release!

Yeah, I like Churchill too. Like most Brits he was an obese alcoholic racist, my kind of guy.  :lol

Like a lot o things in the UK light years behind other countries. 1967 in Australia, even in N Ireland they had plastic £5 issued in 2000 by the Northern Bank. In Holland before the €€€ the Guilder notes had a very useful feature as in they had Brallie letters embossed on the notes.

Now really what we do need is that our bank notes float, this Breixt shit has the ££££ sinking faster than the fecking Titanic.

Mind you we have a saviour on the horizon Tony Bliar (Blair) gas said he may re-enter mainstream UK politics.Actually that may not be such a bad idea<!!!!
