Can anyone on here confirm the make and model of tyres that the FZS600 was fitted with from new? Did it change between '98 and '03.

That seems like a very good deal from that site, and next time I'll try them.
I will be going to Ride-in tyres in Reading for this one, as I owe the bloke big time, he could charge me twice what it costs from that site, and I would still consider myself quids in.
I've never bother too much about pairings either, and will be replacing a Michelin macadam 100 which was on a second-hand wheel I got from the bay, because it had good discs, which has done me for over 10,000 miles.
I do 300 miles a week commuting in all weathers, and the BT23 have always been good to me on wear and handling. I'm loathe to change as I don't want to spend six months for a rear or a year for a front wishing I'd not bothered.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought but best to get it confirmed.
I presume the 110 will gradually get harder to find, but as long as they still do BT23s in that size, I'm a happy bunny.

Probably been asked before, but, did all the FZS600s come with a 110/70 front, or did they change on the later models to 120?
Just enquired about a tyre for my 2002 and was informed the later ones had a 120.

After having problems with the electrics after having an alarm removed, I want to replace with an un-molested loom. If anyone has one from a 2002 or 2003 FZS600. Part number will be 5RT-82590-00. Cheers

Thanks for all the replies guys. I ended up with the HJC FG-ST, which is a fibreglass shell instead of poly, and has the sun visor on a lever by the side of the main visor, instead of the slide across the top of the lid, which means it's quieter.

I'm thinking of swapping my aging IS-16 for an IS-17, and wanted to see if anyone has had both and what they thought about them
Very pleased on the whole with the IS-16 especially the quick detach visor and the internal sun shade. Vents are good and visibility is good as well. It's comfortable but quite noisy.
Is the IS-17 quieter?

Thanks mate but I just had an offer accepted on the bay for a wheel with good discs and tyre.
Good luck with your sale.

Is it solid? I'll take it if it is.
The cross brace on my 02 one is cracked.

I wouldn't bother with 2mm, there's already a 3mm hole there. I tried 5mm first, and it still took forever to get the last 2 litres in. Opened it up to 8mm, and it was better. I can't see any hole in the filler neck of my 2002 foxeye. Does it have one and if so is it a the front or the sides, or does the '02 have a different arrangement. I'm sick of standing there trying to top off the tank. With a brimmed tank I only need to fill up once on my 250 mile weekly commute. BTW I regularly manage to get 23 litres in what is meant to be a 22 litre tank.

Does anyone have a spare rubber seal that goes between the screen and fairing on a foxeye?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I thought the tab at the rear of the Motad downpipes was for the stop, I could be wrong. Have you got pics of the Fuel set up, the Fuel can I got from eBay came in a box, with paperwork for a CBF600, so I asked the seller who confirmed it was for a Fazer, I'm no so sure now!

I already have the can, a Fuel one, got from eBay for £50, and I also have some Motad downpipes which have the stop on them, I just wanted to fit the can first, so dozy commuters stand more of a chance of realising I'm there, and fit the downpipes just before the MoT next year (cos I'm tight) I just wondered if anyone had come up with a genius idea for a stop.

The centre stand stop is part is the link pipe, and I wanted to fit a replacement can and pipe, but don't want to lose the centre stand stop. Has anyone come up with a good solution to this? I can't be the first to ask this, but couldn't find anything with a search.

Just bought a Fuel can from eBay that said it was for an FZS600, turns out it's from a CBF600, anyone know if it will fit?

I get 250 miles from a tank on my 02 Foxeye. I've done 25 miles from when the fuel light comes on, but haven't pushed it any further. Never got to put 22 litres in though
