Imagine Christo trying to overtake or filter on that.

How can a full car license cover riding one of these? About as sensible as letting an A2 license holder drive a Ferrari! :lol (even a Pink one)

At least you have to have a license! In France you can, with no license, buy a 'car' (sort of mini smart type thing) that can do over 30mph and drive it on all roads apart from the autoroutes. They may only do between 30 and 40mph but if the thing ploughs into a load of children at a bus stop you don't need to be a genius to know who will come off worse!!

well thanks to you Devilsyam after seeing that pic my wife now wants me to trike my fazer..  :eek

Only over my cold, dead body.. she had her chance with the Chinese 125cc cruiser I bought her.. which she promptly crashed on her CBT resulting in two titanium plates in her forearm.. bike was fixed up cheaply and sold on at least and shes now on the back of mines again..

Tommo- my local Reliant dealer switched to selling Aixam cars-500cc twin cylinder diesel-big enough for two & a bit of shopping.Slow & Expensive for what they are. Funny these license anomalies between member states of EU-but have never seen the logic of the 2/3/4 wheel regs-must be based on weight? Cant be on layout of controls. What about the Canam Spyder :eek :lol

The French have a similar thing, the "voitures sans permis" - licenseless cars. They're driven at a max speed of 30mph, generally by old biddies. They cost a fortune, and the insurance is horrific.

Weird to think that people who passed their bike test before 01 can drive 3 wheelers (such as the Reliant Regal/Regal/Robin) thanks to the B1 entitlement you used to get with an A license.

One of the best looking 3 wheelers in my opinion is the Campagna T-Rex. I bet it would be a right hooligan round a track too!

In my experience even cars with licenses are driven at  a max of 30 mph by old biddies :)
Though it is amusing seeing some huge overweight bloke trying to get out of one of those little 'voitures sans permis' VSP from now on!!
Vive la difference and all that!
How about one of those Morgan 3 wheelers..............
