Hi Guys just wondered, as my Fazer has the stainless down pipe which are stained, would it be ok to Paint them black with heat resistant paint ?

as I have had no succsess in trying to clean them up

Can't see any reason why you shouldn't paint them. You could scuff them up a bit with some steel wool to help the paint stick

Down pipe now all painted with heat resist Black paint and polished the rest of the bike looking good now

I dunno I reckon i'd go with a red hugger wirh a black Yamaha decal personally to tie it all together? Just my opinion though. It's already a smart looking bike 🖒
