Ok, didnt wanna say anything till the cheque was cashed. Got insurance payout for my bike today and it was £300 more than i payed for the bike 4 years ago including the excess. Word of warning though, my policy included helmet and leather cover but I have since found out that this is done through a seperate company and also included another £50 excess. The bloke said that he had been doing valuations for 27 years and found it hard to value because of the age/ condition and was more than happy to offer top dollar. Insurance was through hastings direct and to be fair, all in all, I cant fault them.
Next problem...... Ive always lusted after a Z 900. Im very tempted (wife allowing) to build one, keeping the same look but updating it. (Google sanctuary motorcycles) along these lines. Its gonna take time and money but........... HEEEEELLLP??

I know quite a few of you on here are keen photographers and have all probably seen that pic of a weasel on the back of a Kingfisher. Well I went for a stroll down by our local reservoir earlier and came across this.......!!

A mate was having problems with his bike. It would run fine till he tried to open it up, then it just kind of coughed and spluttered. Checked all the usual things, fuel lines, plugs etc, all seemed to be ok, nothing out of the ordinary. He spent days stripping bits down and trying to sort it out, then his wife, who is a nurse, had a look and diagnosed the problem straight away.
Turns out it was "just scared of speed and was having panic attacks, bless it" !!!

Seem to remember someone on here not long ago asking where you can get the bung / caps for the grab rail from. I dunno if Yamaha sell these specifically but I got 6 of these off ebay for the grand sum of £1.59. (2 spare).

What a shit design, alarm battery dies with no warning and your bike is totaly immobilised, great if you happen to be miles from anywhere. Whatever twat came up with that idea needs his bollocks removing with a blunt spoon!!! Luckily mine died in the garage but my understanding of all things electrical is absolute shite and its booked in for the MOT on Tuesday. Dont suppose there is anyone in the Northampton area that knows how to disconnect a meta alarm is there???? I have bacon and tea!!!!

Went for a good blast today and ended up at the sea side. Walked along the prom and came across some bloke and his Mrs having a right barney on the beach in front of a load of kids. It got a bit physical and someone called the police. Copper arrived in no time at all and had to draw his baton to calm the bloke down, there was a bit of a scuffle and somehow the bloke got hold of the baton and started hitting his wife and the copper with it. Then out of nowhere a crocodile turned up and ate all the sausages!!!!!
