I would avoid all valves gimmicks etc..Buy a good mask from a dive shop, ( clear silicone is good, lets in loads of light) you need access to be able to hold your nose (clear ears/ equalize ) . just a plain snorkel. (no co2 build up )  if you dive under, as you surface look up, this will clear water by gravity and snorkel will be all but empty at surface. When snorkeling breath out of your nose, this will clear mask with every breathe, even with facial hair. strap needs to be loose, water pressure will keep mask on. I been diving for years ( british sub aqua club, "dive leader ") none of you holiday P.A.D.I. rubbish.

General / Re: roadside puncture repair

Roadside, I like tyre weld. its quick and gets you home. save all the other stuff for the garage. Never had a problem with it. the thing people don't do ( but you must ) is let the tyre right down first..its hard to do when your miles away and its raining and your making it worse. But if you don't the can and tyre equalize pressure and all the goo doesn't go in..trust the can to pump it up again, cos it does.
As for goo in the tyre, well its easy to get out(with tyre off ) or just leave it, it distributes evenly so no real balance issues after you've plugged it at home.

I think its great that the old cars are getting an outing, if you got the money better spent like that than keeping them in a heated garage.
What gets my goat is....people who don't indicate going round roundabouts if they are going right..traffic would flow loads better if they did.

Another thing to think about is what they supply, they very often cater to "normal people" ie people who have a pedal bike nad a mower in their garage.
my garage was broken into a few years back and tools stolen, when I rang to list what was missing they said they only dealt with halfords or Draper.
I said about my snap on stuff and they didn't deal with them...so you need money to replace not new for old, where they supply you replacements.
Also my bike is in a locked garage but when I am working on something else I wanted the flexibility to leave the bike on the drive, so when I did my go compare thing I said it was on the drive locked up...2 quid cheaper than a locked garage !! wtf ? its always in the garage but got the choice now.

Buy "sea foam " on e bay.  trust me, put loads in tank, run the bike so it gets into carbs. then go for a run on the bike.
The stuff is amazing.

Before I order one can any body tell me if they come with a main stand stop ?

Petrol on a hot bike wont light. (30 yrs London fire brigade ) you need a spark. you could throw a bucket of petrol on a hot exhaust and it wont light

Can you not just buy a single tap the right size ? use a spanner to turn it, the bars don't need drilling out first. I got a mate nearby who had the right size, took him about 5 mins in a vice
