Windscreen bolts
« on: 08 January 2016, 04:40:46 pm »
Trying to change my windscreen over, the bolts just seem to spin, two have come out with ease but the others just spin, they are still holding the windscreen in. Any suggestions

inside the rubber on the back of the nose cone there are small nuts, either 6mm or 8mm. with a blade or snips remove the rubber from the old fixings and use a spanner or socket on the nuts to hold it whilst you undue the bolt............. Hope that all makes sense

Thanks for the reply, under the rubber it appears its round metal ie no bolts. I've tried holding them in place while turning the bolt but it just spins the same
