Holy crap, that's awesome - I mean I've seen low mileage before, but that's amazing

Is it bad value?
True, the depreciation would kill it once u put some miles on it, but if you intended it to be a long-term 'keeper' how does it compare to the price (and performance) of something modern like an xj6 Diversion?

Well, it's more than just low mileage... if the bike has been sitting for a while, the bike may well need quite a bit of work to get it running again. Plus, the engine still needs breaking in, yet is 10 years old....

Tidy, yes, impressive, yes, but too expensive!

Who moved the post here? Its not me selling it, it was for people to take the piss!!!

I do like that RD250 Andy but £8K is out of my price range and especially so as you would never be able to register it now.

a 10 years old bike with 40 miles at over 3 grand? no thank you!!

if your buying a bike to ride id rather one with 7-8000miles thats been used. bikes that have sat for that length of time will need work

Beware old bikes that have sat for years! May need a complete engine strip to replace deteriorated oil seals &c.
