Indicator wiring question
« on: 07 September 2016, 11:38:45 am »
I've spent a bit of time looking at the wiring diagram.

PROBLEM:
No headlights
No sidelights
No Left indicators (F&R)

Main beam works!
Dashboard indicator light works!

Hazards - only right indicators flash.

I've deduced that the fault must be where the two return wires from the front and rear left indicators join before going back to the left handlebar switch.

Any idea where that joint is? Before I take the tank, tail section, side covers and left handlebar switch apart to look for it?!

The connector to the switch gear is under the tank, near the front.
I would start by checking the fuses and to see if there is power in various places as well as checking the earths.
