Measures of different bearings
« on: 22 April 2016, 02:53:52 pm »
Hi.

Does anybody know the exact measures for the following bearings. I have tryed to look for the informatin on the forum, but no luck so far.

Steeringhead bearings.upper and lower for FZS1000 gen 1.
I think i found out this.

Measurements in mm.

Upper taperded bearing ID 26 OD 47 WITH 15
Lower tapered bearien ID 30 OD 55 WITH 17

The other issue is the measures for all bearings in 2008 R1 Front and rear wheels including the needle in the rear hub
Theese numbers has not been quite as easy to find.

The reason is that it might be much cheaper to buy these direktly from SKF, as it is a Swedish company.
Otherwisw I have to order in from Europe or overseas.

All the best

I just bought these swingarm pivot bearings along with a set of taper roller head bearings

Way cheaper than Yamaha and jolly nice they are too. I really don't care how big they are though because someone else worked it out at Marksman and put them in a bag for me!
