Tritons I thought they was usually a Triumph T120 650cc parallel twin Bonnie lumps grafted into a Norton wideline Featherbed with shortened Norton Roadholder forks.
They certainly were back in my 59 Club days when the cafe racer ruled supreme.
You need to be in your teens or twenties to ride a cafe racer, clip-ons as low down the fork legs as you can get them with rear-sets as far back as possible and wrists like the Incredible Hulk.
Then of course there was the Tribsa maybe the least said about that the better as the BSA Duplex frame was not the best of cradles in the world, but just a tad better than the single down tubed standard Triumph frame.
There was nothing about then to beat the Norton Featherbed a lovely cradle frame that was so well braced and strutted but still retained it's lightness, a work of genius.
