Ok foccers, I've had an e-mail from Jim giving me a slot on 24 March but I'm going to decline that one and hold out for a later one as I intend to fully rag it round that track.  :b. So would rather it not be too slippery. He also mentioned that he didn't recognize punkstig's or kitkrazy's names on any of the emails and has asked if you would get back in touch to ensure we can get on together. So. If you both agree to get on a later date and want to go together drop him a line,  cheers.  Also any other foccer's seriously thinking of this get an e-mail sent mentioning the forum and opting for a later slot,  say May I think would be good.

Just emailed him to let him know who I am but also added (fazer owners club) to the subject field to make it easier for him to find who's who on emails!

The funny thing is for at least 4 years running March and April had fantastic weather, it was only last year that we still had snow!

Ok, so had an email offering the march date but declined it, Jim is open to us going as a group but we have to reply that we are on the forum.
So hopefully we could be free for the next date!?

Word of warning, I did one last year and the marshal before we went onto the track didn't like my zip up 2 piece, said the zip didn't go round enough (3/4 the way round) and didn't like my winter gloves!

Got on the track all right but be prepared...

If you enjoyed yesterday with those lovely bends, you will enjoy track sessions with KFB, as only their peeps on the track during their sessions, so no racers cutting you up, cones to mark turn in points, three slow sighting laps with no overtaking, and a MSV instructor to help if you ask. Very relaxed and friendly day 8)

Just got this back from Jim
Quote
Hi Mark. There are no longer leathers available for Hire from MSV so let me know if you are still interested. Jim
So looks like if you want to go out on the track you need to find your own one piece, or two piece that zips all the way round  :(

Any northerners/ westerners that want to do this but are put off by the distance you are more than welcome to stay over at mine the night before, and after, I'm about an hour and half (tops) away from Brands Hatch, I can comfortably put 2 up, uncomfortably 4.
Just saying, let me know!

Leathers is the thing that's holding me back... I may well buy a set, but not until much later in the year and only then if I have the money

You really can buy a cheap set of leathers be it a one piece or two piece on eBay.There are literally hundreds on there. For sizing you can go to a shop try on a brand new set so you know what size to look out for, only Day this because the European sizes can be confusing. Just a thought.

Don't know if you have date confirmed yet, but saw Jim last week and as far as I am aware so far they are March 25th. May 6th both Tuesdays and June 30th a Monday. If I hear any different as so far only March 25th on MSV website, will let you know. 8)

For those saying lack of leathers is putting them off, you can hire them from Motor Sport Vision on the day, I think it's about £45.  My friend did it last time.
