Whilst on the subject is there much I can do to stiffen the front forks up a bit? Heavier oil? Any after market springs?
Mines a 1999, so no adjusters. I'll get some 15w oil for them.Will do cheers!

I'll get some 15w oil for them.Will do cheers!I'll give you a Scottish idea :-)I've recently put some penny washers into my front shocks, just remove top cap, drop in some penny washers making sure you do the same amount each side, think I've got 3 either side and then replace top cap, go for a wee run see how it feels, then add or remove to suit your ride, 30 minute job max.

Same dimension as penny but made for the Scottish.....
Ahh just to give a bit of preload? That's a good idea!
