Fzs600 screen removal

Hi all only just joined, can anyone give me any hints on how to remove the windscreen, I'm struggling at the min and snapped abit off the corner off on Sunday heavy handed gimp I know lol the bolts that go through the screen to keep it in place all 6 of then won't budge :0(

do the bolts turn at all, or do they just spin?

if they don't turn - maybe a little penetrating fluid in to see if that would loosen it.

They just turn with the rubber nut thing on the back mate

Mine did the same the other day, try to get some long nose pliers on the rubber fixings inside but be careful, those hex bolt look like aluminium and they round off very easily.

Yeah I've rounded a few off trying looks like I'll have to angle grind the rest off so I can put the new screen on

I saw they sell the screen fixing at halfords if u kill them taking it off :'(

I got some new ones from ebay.
Those look like they have been replaced before as the orig ones are black - is that an iridium screen
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Yeah it's an iridium double bubble screen was already on the bike when I bought it, I've just ordered a new one so that should arrive today and then the fun starts on trying to get the b@stard off lol
