FZS 1000 & R1 5PW Gearbox
« on: 18 March 2014, 05:07:44 pm »
Hi All,

2nd gear has gone on my R1 5pw (1st injection model) :'(

Can anyone confirm if the FZS 1000 (2000 5LV) gearbox is a straight swap for the R1 5PW (2002) 1st injection model??

I hope to replace the whole box :eek :eek

Thanks
Mark

I am guessing the ratios will be different given that one is a rev happy sports bike and the other is an R1 :pokefun

:lol I think my DT50MX is more of a rev happy sports bike than the R1  :lol

I know the 2nd & 6th cogs are the same part no:  ;) just not sure about the whole box??
