Yep that's a very nice bike indeed.
Loving the colour.
Is it rude to ask what sort of deal you got? Finance etc?
I was farting about with my old bike earlier & i though i wonder what it is like to have a brand new bike & be doing none of this...just riding.

Well yamaha are offering 0% over 4 years on some of their bikes, including this one.
I'm paying £169.11 a month, with a £500 deposit, that includes the heated grips, 50L topbox with back pad.
ALSO yamaha are offering free datatag with all new 2014 bikes!
Worth looking into.

Cheers Kermit, very tempting indeed, i've never ever been window shopping for a bike before so i think it shall be first on my agenda when i get the bike running in a few days time & find out where my nearest Yam dealer is.

Is only temporary, has been like that for about 3 years though! lol.
Thanks guys, really happy with it, just spending my down time looking at bits for it. Anyone got a good suggestions for paint protection kits, mainly for tank..

I like the newer endcan, it looks far better than the original one.

I must say, I'm developing a bit of a soft spot for the FZ8. I'm thinking it may be a nice alternative to the boxeye when the time comes to upgrade. Probably won't be looking for a new one as I'm a tight foccer but having never ridden one I'm still undecided and there is loads of choice out there these days. I want to retain the comfort and practicality of the boxeye (which is what makes it so hard to replace in the first place) but with a little bit more umphhh.
Yours looks sweet in that colour and is a cracking deal for a new bike ;)

looks really nice to me. Good buy. Enjoy when you can :-)

GOOD NEWS, The Dacia Sandero.......errr no...
Cast came off this morning, done 100+ miles today. What an incredible bike! So comfy and easy to ride. Very responsive and smooth engine. Only reving upto 5k as running in, think i might need to book service ASAP!
I would deffinetly recommend people take one for a test ride at least, it is a really really good bike.
Thanks for all the well-wishes.
Hopefully see some of you guys around (Southampton/Hampshire)

Glad you're on the road, Kermit!
If in the Southampton area, try getting in touch with Fireblake - we had some great rideouts last year together out of Loomies, not a million miles from you! :)
-
Robinson's Rochdale have 2013 with 6 miles & Akropovic £5700 bought mine from them last year Kris salesman top guy delivered to Kent gov too!

Love the colour ...hate the can.

I don't mind the can, I think it's quite stylish for stock. There are certainly uglier ones around.
