Just ridden r-kids CBF1000, extremely bland motorcycle.
The most interesting feature is it’s low seat height.!
Seriously, it looks like it should be great, but that Fireblade engine is too emasculated, it’s too civilised, too ‘Honda’.
You must try one before committing.
I like the look of the R1200RS, the 1250 Bandit can be found fully loaded for a decent price, a TDM900 might be interesting, the ZXR1200 and GSX1400 very ‘macho’, and if you fancy ballistic speed, the Blackbird and ZZR1400’s are totally mad, but eminently useable.
I do like the Multistrada and XR1000, but sheet, as Cilla might say, they’re a lorra-lorra cash.

I visited them last year, just after they moved to the new (huge) place Sth of Boston. I wanted a part quickly so went to collect, found them great to deal with. I thought they were setting up a shop in the front of the warehouse, not checked, but if so, and you're not a million miles away I'd definitely pop and see them. As already mentioned, it's always best to try before you buy, especially helmets. Other option obviously is to try one locally and then purchase on the web, though many dealers will haggle if you try, and it's good to support ya local shop. You never know when you'll need em. Re-wet weather gear. I'm tempted by some ex army goretex leggings on a local market for £20. 100% waterproof and they have full-length zips down the outside so easy to pull on over boots etc. Bargain, so long as you don't mind the Action Man DPM look.

I've a T30 which has done me proud, I've even used it as an off-shore bag.
Plenty of straps, inc a Velcro one which can go under the seat/pillion seat to secure it. Also has a shoulder strap to use whe off the bike. Tough as old boots & 100% waterproof after two years. Can't fault it, especially as I got it free with a bike mag subscription.
Recently Greatmagazines.com were offering Bike mag for £43/yr, inc a free T30 roll bag. Not sure if that offer is still on but they seem to appear fairly regularly.

Nice chrome rad cover, was previously fitted to my 2002 Foxeye FZS600. Superb condition, bolts on simply, looks good and adds protection. £25, can post if required or collect. I'm in Grimsby Lincs. Further photos available.

Full Givi Monokey pannier frame & Topbox plate for Yamaha FZS600
WingRack2 and fitting kit for FZS600 (came off my 2002 Foxeye).
Suitable for Monokey boxes.. (not included).
Has the handy addition of indicators included in the pannier frames, plus top plate for top box.
I used it with three big cases and the bike remained stable. Would benefit from re-spray, but perfectly sound and useable as-is.
Fazer 600 fitting kits are no longer available from Givi, and rarely appear on eBay.
Obviously they're quite a weight to post, so collection would be best (plus you can have a proper look, and maybe even bolt it on while you're here) but can post out if required.

He needs to decide what he wants, he lacks focus, and without that he'll never win a TT. (He focuses for the first couple of laps and is as fast or faster than any, then slips away).
He's been entertaining fer sure, but now I think he's a bit of a wally.
I Marshall at the TT, and my bro is a paramedic, often up in the chopper, while It'd be great if he could finally win one, as has already been pointed out, it could easily end badly.
But, especially as he lives not far from me (I see him out on a pushbike every now and again) I really hope he finally nails it.

As all WeeStrom owners will tell you, these are fantastic bikes.
Lovely willing V-twin engine, 'all-day comfort' riding position and a great tank range.
Without doubt THE most competent bike I've ever owned. Sadly a change of job forces its sale.
Though originally registered in June 2013, when I bought it in May 2014 from local Suzuki dealer GPWheels eleven months later it was showing only 3 (yes three) miles.
It had been PDI'd, and then left unsold in the corner of the workshop before finally making it to the shop floor, it was essentially a new bike.
Classy looking in Black/Grey it has Genuine Suzuki Handguards, Tankpad and 'V-Strom' Chainguard fitted.
Though this bike has been used in all weathers, I am a mature rider (over 35 years of riding) and always look after my bikes with care, it is unmarked save a couple of small blemishes on the luggage rack. Paintwork is immaculate.
This really will be a sad sale for me, but it's a great bike that deserves to be ridden.
The new owner will not be disappointed.

Hello folks, intro time.. Hometown; Grimsby, Lincs. Age; James Toseland.. (go figure). First bike; MZ Simson SSB1 (still own it but needs a full resto). Current bikes; DL650AL3, DT175MX, MZ Simson SSB1 50. Riding History; 36 years, summer & winter. Fave bike owned; RD400E (though maybe the DT175, I've owned/Enduro raced 5 over the years). Bike(s) I'd buy post lotto win; Moto Guzzi 750s3, MV Agusta 750s America, RC30, CB1100R, RD400E, NS400R. Fave test-ride road; B1203 Ravendale to Market Rasen near Grimsby, fab tight-twisty-hilly-bumpy-quiet, really tests any bike, big or small (it's too far to The Mountain, IOM). Fave Biking destination; IOM TT, nowhere else comes close. Fave rider; Yer Maun, Joey. Best bike quote; 'It was sucking the rabbits out of the hedges', Guy Martin, Manx RadioTT c2010..ish. Best non-biking quote; 'Sorry mate, I can't hear what you're saying cos your mouth's full of sh!t', John Cooper Clark c1979..ish. Odd things; I can ride a unicycle, like to surf, walk on my hands, and I write poems about the TT. Secret; I quite like wallpapering.! Next bike; probably a pushbike or the bus. Givi WingRack2 Monokey Luggage SetWingRack2 (obviously with FZS600 fitting kit) 2x Panniers plus Topbox. These are all the large 52L cases, each able to hold 2 Full-Face helmets and together provide a huge amount of carrying capacity (ideal should your pillion wish to take the full 'kitched sink' with them.!) All the cases are essentially identical except the Topbox has the extra comfort back-rest pad fitted. The panniers are in very good condition, the topbox has been used daily so not quite as clean but certainly not shabby. The fitting kit, Topbox plate and WingRack would benefit from a re-spray but are all sound and perfectly useable as-is. The WingRack has built-in indicators and uses the MonoKey fitting system so all cases are easily fitted/removed and interchangeable. The topbox lock barrel has failed so a new three lock set will be included, all cases can then be opened/removed with one key. A fantastic Touring set up, £325 for the full kit. Other BitsGenuine Yamaha standard screen. In good condition with no cracks. £25 Red Dog Hugger. In High Gloss Black, clearly used but clean, tidy and very effective. £25 Chrome Radiator Guard. Very clean, no rust, easily fitted, with 'Fazer' emblazoned across it (Tastefully.!). £25 All items are at my home in Grimsby Lincs.
