i bet you ohlins don't actually make their own springs.
however i bet their QC is a damn sight more stringent than k-tech..............g'wan, ask me how i know.

The main lights should come on after the bike has been spun over.
You can bypass the wiring quite easily and fit an earlier set of switchgear

or you could always just change the spring on your old shock (£40), and get it regassed (£70-90).

from experience the R6 unit overheats on track too quickly (40mm chamber vs 46mm)

a rosso corsa after 1.52 laps of oulton in august. pretty sure it was set at 27 cold (no warmers allowed)
note how the tread hasn't lifted on either edge (damping spot on) so the tyre gets an easier life.
the amount of times a TD hero says 'check out my tyres' and i'll reply that your damping is sooooo wrong

it depends on many,many things.
track temp is the first variable. the higher the temp, the lower the pressure.
tyre type is another. a sports touring tyre will not get as hot as a super corsa, so will need more pressure in it as there will be less increase in internal gas pressure.
are you running 100% nitrogen or basic air (it's amazing the difference that 20% of oxygen makes)
however for supercorsas i run 26R and 30F and have a play in the 3rd session if the tyres look like they are cutting up.
for 023's i'd drop to 34F/R and move about from there, unless it's really cold.

big, heavy, slow steering, underdamped, undersprung, under geared, but with a full akra and modded carb rubbers quite brisk.
reminded me a bit of my old z1000.

Just seen the video. Oh dear.
I would be looking at suspension  bearings/bushings as well as i'm guessing that bike hasn't seen much tlc.

That front sprocket is scrap and the rear doesn't look too good.

With my camper I got the usual 25 % price hike due to adverse trading conditions line. Phoned around and got the price down but didn't need to use the old bus so let the policy lapse. Did a compare the money supermarket thing and lo and behold my previous insurer was a better price than last year. Apparently new customers get the best deals.

Pretty sure that for most of my spannering career we often used different rate springs in the forks to get the ideal set up. It IS important to set the rebound damper rod datum point identically in each fork, which iirc is 11mm of thread above the nut.

My gen1 came with z6 fitted. There's a video somewhere of me spinning it up in 2nd gear away from the lights for a few seconds. Pr2s I had fitted to my BMW and they were OK but front had a funny wear pattern after 4k.
Far better tyres out there for not much more money.

grippy enough for 1'50's around cadwell yet gave another 4k miles afterwards.
most S/T tyres are better than 99% of the riders that use them.

don't use the 6 pot nissins if you can help it! see if you can get hold of some 90mm spaced 1200 bandit/triumph 4 pots..................or you could fit some tasty 60mm brembos with adaptor plates and a nice 19mm radial m/c iyswim ;)

Says what they stand for in that NGK manual

F conical seat
G Fine nickel alloy centre electrode

Hate to say but this makes much more sens to me.

then the plug reference would be cr7eg or cr7ef

they are country reference codes as has been stated previously.

let me Google that for you
