Sounds like a good weekend Slim.
Once the Pheasant shooting season ends I'll get onto the roe deer in our young plantations. I will also get out with the hounds more, travel quite a bit clearing foxes for farmers before lambing time. 29

Honestly there are some belting roads in this area.
Castle douglas to Ayr Newton Stewart to Ayr Stranraer to Ayr Ayr to Thornhill Try out this for a day, Thornhill to Cumnock, Cumnock to Douglas then on to Lanark, Lanark to Abington, Abington to Crawick then into Sanquhar then to Mennock and up the mennock pass to Wanlockhead then Leadhills then Elvanfoot, Elvanfoot to Thornhill. That is one good day out on a bike.. 32

Dumfries and Galloway is a gem of a place and most people fly past it on the M74 and head up north. They don't know what they are missing

Hope this link help you ( if it works as I'm no good on puter )
I work as a gamekeeper so this sort of stuff is pretty important to me. I personally wouldn't go past Swarovski and Zeiss as you won't get better no where. I had bushnell binos that only lasted just over a year, they couldn't handle real life as did one of their scopes on a rifle a few years ago ( it came with the rifle so I gave it a go ). 34

Why are the polling stations issuing pencils to mark your vote, very fishy, pun intended.

When I say ' Gamekeeper ' I get, cruel bastid, murderer etc. If I give it another angle and say Wildlife management I get , interesting, great job etc. One day people will see we don't walk about all day with a shotgun and dog at our side.

Thank you peeps.
Applied online, forms downloaded and filled in. Wait my turn now 46
I have been told by the boss of the house that I need a passport, where for, hell knows. I have not been in a plane since working at the Lockerbie disaster but looks like things are going to change !!
All I have regarding any form of passport is an old visitors passport from 1993. My question is, can this be used to get a full passport ? Any info is much appreciated, cheers. |
