Good luck mate, you might be lucky.
I asked same question on a few sites a couple of weeks back, ended up buying new from Fowlers £33.26 delivered. Part number 2TK-14865-01

Thanks Des. Yeah, it's still a lot at £34, isn't it, but I think I'll just have to bite the bullet.

I actually found one on the net for around £28 in Poland (one in the US was cheaper, but who knows what extras will have to be paid, so....) but the postage was 18 Euros - so in fact more expensive than in the UK.

It's a pretty ridiculous price isn't it - but I suppose we are used to it as bikers, and moreover as UK bikers.

I'm just going to call the guys at Tinklers in Norwich, who have done a Stirling job up to now, of supplying my genuine Yamaha bits with no fuss, and take the hit to my wallet. My baby deserves it, after all, she gives so much and gets little in return.

Ahem...  :b

EDIT: Well there ya go - Tinklers have come good again! The part (part No is 2TK148650100) is £29.66 incl VAT and they charged me 90p postage! Thanks, guys ;)

Check cables and oil if you haven't already.
I guess you've greased exup while your at it
I know what you mean about price. I pay more for toys and toys don't keep bike on the road :-)

Fitted it today - but the bolts holding the valve in are completely seized and the heads are falling to bits with rust.  :(

Luckily, my grease monkey friend has agreed to do it for me in the summer. Mind you, it does seem to be okay now, moves freely and the bike seems to be working well, so I'm happy enough to wait until then.
