Problems with fuel gauge
« on: 17 May 2015, 12:45:09 pm »
Just bought a 2006 FZ6 it has had the clocks changed at some point and the fuel gauge just flashes constantly, It was being used as a training bike so they never bothered with it - anyone found a cure ?

I can't remember if the default (connector off) is the gauge flashing but it might just be the wire off on the underside of the tank.

The wire isn't really long enough and will ping off if you lift the tank too high.
Just think how stupid the "average" person is.  Isn't it a worry that statistically approximately 50% of the population are thicker!
