Or look at it this way, the white population of the UK will be reduced by around about 4.5million and the Muslim population in what remains of the UK will have increased it's %share by what 20%, be worried................

Umm no, but just a little racist perhaps?

Anyway I'm voting YES! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

If it is a 100% inclusive campaign why are Scots who live and work in other parts of the UK being excluded from the vote, just a question thats all

Because it is The Scottish people that will decide.  That is the people who live, work and contribute to Scotland.

well, that discounts 60% of the population then,as their all on the social arnt they?  :D

« on: 31 August 2014, 08:41:33 pm »

Here's a little video i did on the 600......youtube usually doesn't default to the full quality so you have to go on the youtube options thingy to increase up to the full 1150 or whatever pixels.........so the camera is basically as good as the likes of youtube are good enough at viewing the videos.

Also no external mike fitted hence the sound is all wind gargled

Mine includes the little wrist strap on off switch which is nifty.

great video rosemary!!  :kiss

I did a quick biker friendly b&b in Aberystwyth and this site came up....only 2 places on it.

But welsh schools down my way go back to school on tuesday so you could get lucky and there be loads of places available.......although its the english schools that would cause the hassle....not sure when they go back.

dave 48, would you have a phone number for the b and b that  you used,as im planning on going to wales for a couple of days next week,so having a recomended stopping point for a night or 2 would be good to have booked ?!   :thumbup

looks good all week weather wise and it'll be the last chance for me to get away on the bike this year.

provisional plan is a quick hack to Abagerveny from here in somerset, then a bimble up to Aberystwyth via builth wells/Llandrindod wells/Llangurig, over night in Bala, then next day up to Angelsey then back however i like from there the following day.

not been to wales on the bike for about 12 years so looking forward to it. just need to get the ex mrs to dog sit  :\

the roads on the way back were all but empty untill yeovil, got caught in a big shower but loved the whole trip, only 145 miles round trip but great day out,im loving being back on a bike again  8)

had a niggle since being back on 2 wheels,in that my hands would go numb/tingly at random times,no set reason, they just would. tried my new gloves today, and no numbness,so glad i brought them.

Im back home at Ascot for the weekend and up at the racecourse they have the Redbull air race thingy going on, had the wonderful sounding spitfire buzzing around and a chinnock helicopter doing a display, wasnt half throwing the thing around up there. Got the Red arrows tomorow. Loads of bikes up there today, sadly stuck in the cage

went to weston bike night in the pissing rain to pick up my new seat from dave at digger custom m/cycle seats.

phoned him yesterday to organise getting my seat done, and he'd just finished doing a 600 boxeye seat,so put first dibs on it and picked it up today.

great work,he puts extra padding in which raise's the seat slightly, and he puts a firmer bumstop in the seat to keep you in place.

he will be doing another couple of 600 fazer seats soon, only takes 4 hours to do apparantly (he's been doing em for 30 years so he should know what he's doing by now!)_ so if you like the look of them, give him a bell. and he still has the gen 1 thou seat that i put in the 'for sale' bit a few weeeks ago.

cost now is £130 plus £15  posted with parcelforce 48

to try to avoid the predicted showers yesterday, instead of going to wales,i headed a bit more east, picked one of the 8 white horse's of wiltshire and headed for it. grat trip on my usual 'somewhere to head' route A361 from shepton mallet towards frome, along the A362,onto the A36,turn off onto the great b390 chitterne road then left at the juntion onto the A360 towards devizes then the A361 towards wroughton, saw the white horse on my right after the stones at Avebury, think it was called Hackpen hill.
great views of the rolling fields

then back home the same route, caught the showers from nunney onwards but dont mind them when im heading home to be honest, except getting stuck behind  a lorry heading towards the local quarry-my bike is now more grey than black from all the shit he was kicking up/off his truck.

what a great bike the fazer is.nimble, light, fast enough when needed without being ballistic and with the Beowolf exhaust she sounds great. winter plans are a belly pan and new fork internals/oil. great day.  8)
